This Friday, my friends and I wanted to go to dinner, a movie, go out for ice cream, and finish the night off with laser tag. Sounds like a fun night, right? The only problem was, it was too difficult for our parents to continue to drive us all across town. Instead, our night consisted of dinner and a movie, at home. I can’t wait till I can drive.
Every since I was ten, my mom has said how much her life will be easier when I am able to drive. At one point, my sister, my brother, and I all went to different schools, and then all had different activities after school that we all had to get to. My mom was constantly on the road, carpooling kids all around town. Now that my sister and I go to the same school, it has definitely made it easier, but there are also all of our weekend plans that always make things difficult. Oh well, only eight more months of this driving inconvenience!
My mom had to do the same thing, I was at after school practice and so was my brother that ended at around 5:00, my sister had dance at 5:30. We live across town so that was a hassle. My brother eventually got his license which lifted a big weight off of my mother's back.
