What a Crazy Weekend!

Wow I’m tired! My weekend was completely packed. On Friday, I went to school, then gymnastics, then to a surprise party for one of my good friends, Taylor. The invitations went out two weeks before the party, and somehow she had absolutely no clue. The day of the party at school, people would accidentally say little hints, but she didn’t put anything together. The look on her face when she arrived at the party was completely priceless. After Taylor’s party, my friend, Sara Alice, and me spent the night at might house, and woke up early Saturday morning to ride in the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
A family from EHS has had a float in the parade for a few years now, and my family has ridden in it for the last three years, along with other families from EHS. I love riding in the parade. It is so much fun, especially when you see people you know in the crowd. After the parade, everyone who road the float was invited to a crawfish boil. Then, I met up with a few of my other friends and hung out for a few hours, then all of my school friends got together to get ready for the Élan cotillion dance. The dance itself wasn’t much fun, but I was excited to see all of my friends from different schools that I don’t get to see very often. After the dance, I went home, had a good night sleep, and woke up Sunday morning at went to gymnastics...not fun. To end my weekend, I laid out because Sunday was absolutely beautiful, and did my homework. Next weekend, I plan have a lot more sleep…well after the BR Cotillion dance.
